Business IT Support and Services Across Estonia

Telescope helps businesses keep their computers, networks, Wi-Fi, printers, backups, software and camera systems running reliably. We are based in Tartu, but provide IT support across Estonia by agreement and can also discuss projects in neighbouring countries.
If your company has no in-house IT specialist or technical issues take up too much time, we can provide either ongoing IT maintenance or one-time assistance. Describe what you need and we will agree on a practical approach.

When does a business need IT support?

IT maintenance is not just about fixing a computer after work has already stopped. Good IT support helps prevent problems, keeps equipment operational and gives employees a clear way to resolve technical issues.
If computers are slow, Wi-Fi keeps dropping, a printer does not work, a new employee needs a workstation set up or the backup process is unclear, it is worth reviewing the company’s IT setup.

  • Computers are slow
  • Wi-Fi drops or has poor coverage
  • Printer does not work properly on the network
  • A new workstation needs to be set up
  • Backup is unclear or missing
  • The camera system needs configuration
  • Email or office software causes problems
  • There is no clear IT contact person in the company

IT services for businesses

Telescope handles day-to-day IT issues that affect business continuity: computers, users, networks, Wi-Fi, printers, software, backups and camera systems. Every business has different needs, so we begin by reviewing the situation and defining the scope of work.

Computer fleet management

We inspect, maintain, configure and upgrade business computers. We review laptops and desktops, user requirements, software and connections, and assess hardware upgrade options when needed.

Workstation setup

We set up new or existing workstations, including the computer, monitors, docking stations, printers, email, required software and network connection. This is useful when preparing a workplace for a new employee or organising office equipment.

Network and office Wi-Fi

We help configure office networks and Wi-Fi when the connection is slow or unstable, or devices cannot communicate properly. We review the router, Wi-Fi coverage, network equipment and printer connections.

Remote work and remote access

We help configure access to company files, software and devices from outside the office. We review VPN access, user accounts, permissions and essential security settings.

Printers and office equipment

A printer or scanner problem can quickly interrupt the workday. We help with printer setup, network connections, user access and connecting other basic office equipment.

Software and user support

We help with Windows, office software, email, drivers, ID-card software and everyday user issues. Smaller tasks can also be handled remotely by agreement.

Backup and data protection

We help plan and configure sensible backups so important files do not depend on a single computer. If needed, we review existing backups, cloud services or local storage solutions.

Security and access rights

We help organise user accounts, access rights, password practices, security updates and basic antivirus settings. The goal is to reduce common risks that could disrupt business operations.

Low-voltage work and camera systems

We help with low-voltage and camera systems, including the installation and setup of IP, Wi-Fi and security cameras, network connections, recorder or NVR connections and remote viewing.
For camera systems, we focus on low-voltage work, network connectivity and configuration. We do not provide construction or electrical installation work. If installation requires major wall penetrations, cable routes or electrical work, a separate specialist will be needed.

We do not provide construction or electrical installation work. We handle low-voltage systems, networking, configuration and the technical side of camera systems.

IP cameras and Wi-Fi cameras

We install and configure IP cameras, Wi-Fi cameras and other network-connected cameras. We connect the equipment, configure the network and perform an initial check to ensure the system works as expected.

Video surveillance and remote viewing

We configure camera viewing from a phone or computer where supported by the system and devices. We review users, access rights and the essential remote-viewing settings.

NVR, recorder and network connection

We help connect a recorder or NVR, camera network connections and PoE equipment, and perform basic configuration. If the system requires extensive cabling or electrical work, we agree on what we can handle and what requires a separate specialist.

Ongoing IT support or one-time assistance

Not every business needs the same type of support. Some benefit from a regular IT partner they can contact whenever needed. Others only need one-time help to set up a workstation, resolve a network or printer issue or install a camera system.

Contract-based IT maintenance

Suitable for a business that needs regular support with computers, networks, software, printers, backups and user issues. The scope, response arrangements and service content are agreed according to need.

One-time IT assistance

Suitable when there is one specific problem or setup task involving a new workstation, Wi-Fi, printer, software, backups, cameras or another technical issue. Describe the situation and we will agree on the next step.

On-site and remote support

Some IT issues can be resolved remotely, such as software, email, user-account or minor configuration problems. If the work requires inspecting equipment or a network, or connecting a printer or camera, on-site support can be arranged.
Telescope is based in Tartu, but IT maintenance and technical support are available across Estonia. Projects in neighbouring countries can also be discussed separately when needed.

How does business IT support work?

We begin by understanding the company’s actual needs. This avoids unrealistic promises and allows us to propose a solution suited to the workload, equipment and way the business operates.

Describe the need

Write or call and describe what the business needs help with: computers, networks, Wi-Fi, printers, backups, software, cameras or another technical issue.

We review the situation

We clarify the equipment, number of users, location, scope of work and whether support can be provided remotely or requires an on-site assessment.

We propose a practical solution

We explain what we can do, which work is sensible and whether one-time assistance or ongoing IT maintenance would be more suitable.

We agree on the work

Before starting, we agree on the scope, next step and terms. If any part of the work requires a separate specialist, we will say so clearly.
